Position Description:


Employee will be responsible for general administrative and clerical responsibilities, such as managing calendars, setting up meetings, arranging travel and some degree of event planning.


Positions in this function include more traditional administrative/clerical support roles including: answering the telephone, typing/word processing of documents, maintaining calendars and setting up meetings, making travel arrangements, copying, faxing, greeting visitors, setting up files, tracking expenses, and coordinating building and equipment maintenance. At senior levels, function may include supervision of other clerical/administrative staff.


  • Moderate work experience within own function.

  • Some work is completed without established procedures.

  • Basic tasks are completed without review by others.

  • Supervision/guidance is required for higher level tasks.

Skills / Requirements


Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience working in an administrative, clerical or office management type role is required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint required

  • 3+ years of project coordination or event planning experience required

  • 3+ years of expense reporting experience required

  • Ability to type 25+ WPM required

  • Experience working multiple phone lines is a must

  • Completion of some college coursework required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
