Our client is a three quarters of a billion dollar per year global company renting and servicing commercial generators, chillers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, heaters, and oil-free air compressors.

Responsibilities include designing and facilitating learning environments in an applied science degree program. The program awards a 90 credit hour Associate in Applied Science degree in Engineering Technologies with a specialization in Power Plant Technology. The focus of this instructional position will be in the operation and maintenance of systems typically found in the power plant industry including electrical systems, mechanical systems, combustion systems, prime movers, water processes, and thermal efficiency.

The design and approach to student learning incorporates current industry standards and emerging technologies in a project based authentic learning setting that models safe practices. This approach is project-oriented, team based, hands-on and competency-assessed. Each student must complete an employer paid internship and participate in a high-level applied research experience. The approach also requires collaborative working relationships with Arts and Sciences faculty, especially in the disciplines of communications, math and science.

Additional responsibilities include providing students with effective advisement regarding their education, career, personal responsibilities and goals, and organizing and/or participating in student recruitment and retention activities. Duties may include daytime, late afternoon, evening or weekend classes and the utilization of distance education techniques to deliver instruction to on campus students and industrial clients on and off campus (Note: omission of a specific statement of duties does not exclude them If the work is similar or logically related to the position)

The compensation package includes:
