Summary: Responsible for Supplier Quality by evaluating new and existing suppliers, driving the quality program, resolving supplier quality issues to closure in a timely manner, manage the supplier corrective action program, work hand in hand with sister sites providing technical assistance and assessing and managing suppliers. Work cross functionally in the development and or maintenance of products or services. This position is involved in resolving the equipment and process related production issues, activities including equipment, process, materials and method validation as well as statistical analysis and metrics to analyze those systems and processes being measured. This position has no direct reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Continually work with suppliers to improve performance, implement process control and quality plans.
* Interact routinely with Purchasing, Engineering and Suppliers to proactively improve the quality of the components.
* Analyze supplier capabilities, develop and maintain suppliers performance metrics.
* Perform Suppliers Quality System audits and provide support for suppliers Quality Systems improvements.
* Liaison between Manufacturing, Sourcing and Engineering to resolve Supplier Quality issues.
* Overall work process knowledge to support the development and maintenance of the quality management system.
* Prior experience in areas of quality assurance such as: Lean/Six Sigma, incoming material control, process control, systems performance, product evaluation, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), metrology or automated testing, is preferred
* Problem solving skills to apply methods for RCA (Root Cause Analysis). Understanding of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis) and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis).
* Knowledge of supplier manufacturing processes and required error proofing and other quality systems as needed to provide flawless quality.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements (ISO, API, ASNT, etc.)

Basic Qualification:

- Bachelor s degree in Engineering

- 5 Years experience in related field.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working within global teams and suppliers in multiple countries is desired.

- Experience in Oil and Gas Industry is highly preferred.

- High mix, low volume manufacturing experience is highly preferred.

- Ability to develop positive, long lasting relationship with customers, suppliers and manufacturing.

- Proven successful track record in leadership (formal or informal) role.

- Advance skills with the use of Excel, Access, Power point and Microsoft Project.
