Hillcrest Medical Center (HMC) is looking to recruit an Administrative Director to their laboratory services team. Come be a part of our HMC team! This role will report to the ACOO.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

The Administrative Director is accountable for overseeing the management of the laboratory, assuring accurate and timely test analysis, maintaining and properly utilizing all resources, establishing and implementing sectional goals and policies, promoting competency of staff and students through education, and ensuring appropriate and timely orientation for new employees. They also apply knowledge and skills, professionally in daily performance of management activities. Assists in the design, measurement, monitoring and implementation of programs to improve patient care within the medical center as measured by improved clinical outcome, improved efficiency of resource use and improved patient and physician satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor’s Degree, required

  • MT(ASCP) Certification
