This position is accountable for organizing and managing communications, and providing other support functions to daily operations in the department. The individual in this position is responsible for providing patient registration and billing, scheduling clinic visits for the professional staff, performing secretarial services such as answering the phone, greeting patients /visitors, checking inpatient board, downloading meters, maintaining files/charts and computerized database. This position requires entering patient data into database, doing reminder calls, faxing PCP’s regarding status of patient appointments and assembling charts for classes and individual appointments. Backup safety officer and back up to other Patient Access Rep(s) when needed.
