Experience the power of physical therapy! Our physical therapy center is now hiring a compassionate and driven licensed PRN Speech Language Pathologists (SLP)! The ASHA certified SLP will complete diagnostic evaluations, treatment plans, discharge summaries, progress reports, daily notes and patient charges in the outpatient medical setting. This SLP should also utilize opportunities to educate patients, patients families, staff, physicians and other medical professionals regarding the benefits of speech language pathology.
Education: Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: ASHA CCC-SLP; Valid Oklahoma State License to Practice Speech Language Pathology
Work Experience: 6 months minimum experience in the adult medical setting; outpatient preferred. Internships completed at Adult and Pediatric sites.
Skills/Abilities: Ability to effectively educate and communicate information and respond to questions from patients, families and physicians. Ability to use an EMR.
Hours Needed: PRN

Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study. State licensure/registration where appropriate. ASHA certification required. 300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.
